La Aurora has begun shipping Fuerte Sol, the first installment of its new Family Creed Series. This line reflects a creative departure from the brand’s usual style, crafted to deliver a flavor profile distinct from the company’s traditional cigars.
The blend combines a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and filler tobaccos sourced from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania. All three sizes in the line are box-pressed, giving the cigar a contemporary look and feel.
The first two sizes now available are the Robusto, which measures 5 x 50 and is priced at $15.50, and the Toro, measuring 5 3/4 x 54, with a price tag of $18.00. A third size, the Gran Toro (6 x 58), is expected to hit stores in the fourth quarter of 2025 at $18.50 per cigar.
In the press release announcing the line, La Aurora president Guillermo León described the Family Creed Series as a blend of tradition and innovation—an offering that respects the company’s legacy while pushing its boundaries to meet the evolving preferences of today’s cigar enthusiasts.
