Sinistro Cigars has officially begun shipping the The Last Cowboy Limited Edition 2025, marking the third release of this sought-after cigar. Crafted at the Artista Cigar Factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, this year’s version introduces notable enhancements that elevate both presentation and flavor.
The 2025 edition is a 6 1/2 x 56 toro extra, blended by Sinistro co-owner James Agopian. It features a rich Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper, a robust Mexican San Andrés binder, and a filler composed of Dominican piloto cubano ligero and undisclosed Nicaraguan tobaccos. Each cigar is capped with a long twist of tobacco, reminiscent of a dynamite fuse—an eye-catching nod to its explosive branding.
Limited to just 400 boxes of 14 cigars—each divided into two bundles styled like dynamite sticks—this edition retails for $18.57 per cigar or $259.88 per box. According to Sinistro co-owner Coleman Fine, this year’s release stands out for two reasons: the cigars were aged for eight months before packaging, enriching their complexity, and for the first time, they come adorned with a custom band bearing the Last Cowboy Limited Edition logo. Originally debuting in 2018 as a Mardo Cigars exclusive and returning in 2023, this 2025 release solidifies the line’s legacy with both style and substance.
