General Cigar Co. has introduced a smaller version of its popular CAO Amazon Basin line: the Amazon Basin Daggers. These petit coronas (4 x 38) maintain the original blend, including the rare Bragança tobacco from Brazil, offering the same unique flavor profile in a quicker, more compact format.
Bragança tobacco is cultivated deep in the Amazon under unusual conditions—planted far apart, harvested once every three years, and fermented in tight bundles before being transported by canoe to the STG Estelí factory in Nicaragua. The Daggers retain this signature journey and include fillers from Colombia and the Dominican Republic, an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, and a Nicaraguan binder.
Responding to strong consumer demand, CAO created the Daggers for fans seeking a shorter smoke without sacrificing character. The cigars come in five-count paper-wrapped packs priced at $24.99, with only 50,000 produced, offering a limited yet accessible way to enjoy the Amazon Basin experience.
