Initially announced in April without cigars, the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario S.T. Dupont Collection will now include a special addition: 20 “A Savage Feast” cigars, crafted in the Feral Flying Pig format. This limited-edition 5 3/8 x 60 perfecto features a hybrid Connecticut-grown Criollo wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés Otapan Negro Último Corte binder, and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania—specifically the potent Green River One Sucker ligero.
Previously seen only at select events in 2021, these cigars will now be part of the collector's humidor package, presented in 10 elegant coffins with two cigars each. Retailers will have the option to add these cigars when ordering the humidor.
While Drew Estate hasn’t disclosed an MSRP for the cigars themselves, they clarified that the cigars are not complimentary. The original humidor package, priced at $3,599.99, includes:
S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 Liga Privada 10 Aniversario Lighter, S.T. Dupont Cigar Stand Cutter (both with palladium-plated bodies and black lacquer branding), Liga Privada 10 Aniversario biometric humidor (not manufactured by S.T. Dupont), with a fingerprint lock and capacity for 100 cigars
The release is scheduled to ship by the end of summer. As Jonathan Drew summarized, “Retailers asked for special cigars with the humidor. We listened. We delivered. Simple.”
