According to Cigar Aficionado, aficionados of ultra-premium aged cigars can look forward to the return of the Fuente Fuente OpusX Heaven and Earth Aged Selection, set to arrive at retailers on July 14, 2025. Distributed by Prometheus International Inc., this highly coveted release includes four travel humidors, each housing a curated selection of meticulously aged cigars.
Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic by Arturo Fuente, OpusX cigars feature rare Dominican wrappers cultivated at Chateau de la Fuente and are renowned for their exclusivity and aging potential. Each cigar in the Aged Selection is labeled with a secondary band showing the vintage year in which it was rolled.
Here’s a look at the 2025 sets:
Opus5 ($395) – 5 cigars in a red humidor: Tauros the Bull Maduro, El Escorpion Maduro, El Escorpion Natural, Purple Rain, Rare Black Torpedo.
Opus7 ($539) – 7 cigars in a yellow humidor: Includes all from Opus5, plus Tauros the Bull Natural and Scorpio Maduro.
Opus8 ($595) – 8 cigars in a Macassar Ebony humidor: A mix of naturals and maduros including two Tauros the Bull Natural and the full Heaven and Earth selection.
OpusXI ($795) – 11 cigars in a blue humidor: The most expansive set with highlights like Big B, Rare Black Double Corona, and two of each Tauros blend.
Only 100 units of each humidor have been crafted—totaling just 400 boxes worldwide. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, which supports children in Bonao, Dominican Republic through education and healthcare.
