September 3, 2025

Davidoff of Geneva has announced the return of its celebrated Chefs Edition, arriving in stores by September 11, 2025. First introduced in 2016, the concept celebrates the synergy between haute cuisine and premium cigars, bringing together Michelin-starred chefs and Davidoff’s master blenders to craft a cigar that embodies culinary artistry and tobacco expertise. This year’s edition is shaped by the refined palates of five internationally acclaimed chefs, who collaborated to deliver a cigar that reflects their distinctive flavor philosophies.

The Chefs Edition 2025 is a 6 1/4 x 52 toro, wrapped in Ecuadorian leaf with a Mexican binder and a complex Dominican filler blend. Highlights include San Vicente viso aged for 15 years, Dominican Piloto seco aged five years using the Yagua palm-leaf method (a Davidoff first), and Hybrid 98 tobacco also seen in the Year of the Snake release. Balanced as a medium-to full-bodied smoke, the blend promises depth, refinement, and signature Davidoff sophistication.

Presented in elegant 10-count boxes priced at $55 per cigar ($550 per box), the release includes 5,600 boxes allocated to the U.S. market. The packaging continues the culinary theme, with a marble-inset lid resembling a cutting board that flips to double as a cigar presentation tray. Crafted in the Dominican Republic, Chefs Edition 2025 marks the first new release since 2021, uniting tradition, innovation, and culinary inspiration into what Davidoff calls its latest “chef d’œuvre.”
