In 2011, Fernandez brought the unique San Lotano Oval to market, a cigar named for its ovular head, flat body and dramatically rounded edges that allow the cigar to sit very comfortably in the mouth. San Lotano is also the name of a Nicaraguan tobacco farm owned by Fernandez, as well as a factory, which he opened in 2017. By using only high-quality fillers, the Habano is powerful yet entirely balanced with a rich and hearty zest leading to a long finish. The most distinctive feature of the Habano blend is its rare Cuban seed ligero wrapper grown only in Brazil.
