Crowned Heads is extending its acclaimed Blood Medicine line with the release of the B Positive Limited Edition 2025, set to ship in mid-September. First introduced as an event-only cigar in 2015, Blood Medicine has since evolved into a sought-after series, with previous limited editions in 2022 and 2024. The new B Positive continues that legacy with a bolder profile, crafted exclusively in a 6 x 52 toro format priced at $12.95.
This release maintains the original internal blend of Ecuador Connecticut binder and Nicaraguan fillers, but introduces a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper that elevates the experience. According to Crowned Heads co-founder Jon Huber, the Corojo leaf adds depth and intensity, delivering a richer and “meatier” expression compared to earlier versions. After experimenting with broadleaf and San Andrés wrappers, the team found that Corojo unlocked the perfect balance of strength and flavor.
Produced in Nicaragua at the D’Hatuey factory (formerly TacaNicsa), B Positive Limited Edition 2025 will have a restricted run of 2,400 boxes of 12 cigars each. Like other Crowned Heads favorites such as Juárez and Míl Dias, this extension underscores the brand’s commitment to small-batch craftsmanship and bold innovation while paying homage to its Nashville roots.
